In 1990, we decided to venture into the stone business and open a small marble shop in Downtown Karachi, Pakistan.
The business only involved the fabrication and installation of marble and granite slab. As time passed, business
grew and we realized the need for expansion. After working in the stone industry for a number of years, we saw
that there was an increasing demand for Marble and Granite.
Seizing the opportunity to use local resources, we began making plans to own and operate a Marble factory. In 1993 we
purchased an existing limestone factory. It was called Hillrock Industries in Korangi, Karachi. This
factory was one of the largest Marble factories in Karachi and most of its production was architectural
cut Marble. We renamed the factory Alpha Stone Corporation and it is situated in a new 10,000 s.f. Building
on a 5-acre site. Now with over decade of valuable experience and a professional
team of dedicated workers.

Quality and Infrastructure
While working to make Alpha Stones a success, we found that it became a necessity for us to own and operate
our own quarries. We now own 3 quarries, 2 in NWFP (Baluchistan), one in Peshawer. Our NWFP quarry,
opened in 1995, has Beige and Champaign colored marble. As we control the production of marbles, any usual
demanded quantity can be supplied in time.
Our facility, Korangi East, employs 13 full time employees. Here we run three shifts 6 days a week to
produce 4,000 s.f per week of Marble & Granite tiles. Located in Korangi, we have shipped processing
machines which inludes a block cutter, an automated processing line which includes automating calibrating,
polishing and squaring machines to produce tiles, a tumbling machine and a bridge saw. We currently have
4 machines on order that will soon be going to this factory.
We can guarantee for quality of our stones, because personally our management staff is taking good care of
quality & we have a standard for quality.We know pretty well that to survive in the long run one has to
maintain high standards in quality. Thus we take extra care to make sure that high quality is maintained
in our products.
Our main
motive is to satisfy our customers by providing high quality products in reasonable time frame. Alpha

checks to ensure flawless products.
